A man was critically ill on Wednesday night after being shot in the North Avenue Beach the night before.
Then the incident, Three Chicago Police officers were injured in Chicago shooting when they broke up an argument in the nearby Old Town.
A poster posted on social media encouraged participants to join a “trend” at the beach Tuesday evening. Just after 4:00 p.m., the young crowd began arriving on North Avenue Beach for the event.
The weather was still clear and hot; just before the nightfall of Tuesday evening night, the Chicago Police Department made two arrests between 5 and 6 p.m.
Two young people aged 20 and 21 years young was taken into custody.
At about 9:00 p.m., Chicago police stated that a man aged 19 was at North Avenue Beach when he was shot several times by a third man.

The victim sends in critical condition to Illinois Masonic Medical Center. And now he is stabilized.
Police say that one man identified by officers who responded. The man who threw the fanny bag is wanted; police are hoping they can locate him in the recently released video.
CPD stated that another suspect remains in the wild; however, charges are in the works for the suspect currently being held.
When crowds were forming on the beach on Tuesday night, an altercation broke out between North Avenue and Wells Street at around 10:50 p.m.
Three officers were wounded in Chicago shooting, and a girl who was 16, as well as two teenage boys, were arrested.

Another officer was also afflicted with swelling of the right eye and was also treated and released from the scene.
A third police officer who had been struck with an unidentified object at the rear of his head was transported to a hospital in the area, where he also received treatment and was released.
In the news conference, Brown spoke about an incident at the Red Line stop on the South Side Tuesday.
